Oh yeah, draw Rogue and Emma Frost with ridiculously huge boobs, that's very classy. -_- PS - that was sarcasm. Also, why make Nightcrawler so overly masculine with such overly detailed muscles and a angry face? So you are saying that females and/or visually feminine characters are incapable of being badass and awesome? Good to know you're a bigot then. Even Haku from Naruto is considered awesome and badass when he is seen being pissed off, and he's the most feminine dude I've ever seen. So, your argument about Nightcrawler makes no sense.

He looks like he can't move his body from the excessive amount of muscles he have. You can't get like that unless you use steroids, and it wouldn't be practical since like I said you won't be able to be very flexible. Plus, he has literally no body fat, which isn't healthy either.
And... you also claim he doesn't even look super-masculine? Are you some special kind of stupid, or are you just trolling? Thick eyebrows, big sharp jawline and chin, hardened face with no softness in it, wide shoulders, supertoned muscles... it's as masculine as humanly possible. I... I don't even get how you could possibly be this stupid.
Also, just because Nightcrawler is a blue demon-looking fellow doesn't mean he has to look ugly. Also, he is ugly here in that he is poorly drawn. You are really trying WAAAY too fucking hard to defend this by pretending there is nothing wrong with it. This is a horrible hill to die on, buddy.

Like I said, the comment is over 5 years old, and I wouldn't have made the same comment now. People change when they get older, and I am no exception.
That being said, my criticism still stands that this person has terrible anatomy on them in a very Rob Liefeld-inspired way. Any professional artist who's educated in human anatomy can explain even better than I can how and why this is just wrong, my friend Spike included. Rob Liefeld is a beyond incompetent artist with no actual education in how to draw and is completely self-taught, and no one should EVER draw art the way he does unless they want it to look like shit.
Not to mention, this is trying too hard to make it male power fantasy. This is exclusively catering straight dudes and no one else, hence why the females are depicted as super-sexy while the men are these ugly muscle-mountains. It plays into what straight dudes want. Well... dumb teenage horny sexist straight dudes to be more specific.
And no offense, but I've seen your favorites. It's filled with stuff just like this, and you clearly speak from a bias of defending what you prefer. You refuse to acknowledge the horrendous sexism and double standards, and that's the big issue I have with the way you approach this. You are not open to hear me out on how and why I think the way I do - you've just decided I am wrong no matter what, unless it works in favour of this drawing or art style.

You are changing the narrative. If that was your point from the beginning, why did you focus on the things I was criticising as opposed to my manners? Shouldn't my criticism be inconsequential to that? You were discussing how you disagree with me on what's bad, and when I counter-argue it you now just make it be all about me "trashing the art".
... also, Rob Liefeld did some pretty good stuff too? Like what, for instance? I am seriously genuinly curious about that, because every single thing I've seen from Rob Liefeld was either absolute garbage or him just ripping off other people's ideas and designs.

All those covers look absolutely terrible. I could go on for hours about everything he does wrong on those covers, but I honestly don't see the need to. Then again, unlike Rob Liefeld, I know how the human body works.
Both him and this artist here condone the most horrendous gender double standards possible, and so do you seem to do based on the stuff I've seen in your favorites. You don't seem like the type who'd encourage them to be more diverse with allowing some male characters to be more sexualized in the same fashion they do with female characters, and/or make them appear more feminine... or the other way around with female characters for that matter.
