I don't really like one more than the other, but I do feel like I sense your vulnerability more through this one--that we all, at one time or another, have "fallen to pieces" in a public place; grocery stores, post offices, buses, and parking lots have seen the worst side of us, the best of us, and are ever inept hiding places.

yay. really like this photo. not completely sure what it is specifically about it. that it looks sort of candid, maybe--i get that idea from the angle and, obviously, that you're turned from that camera. like that it's b&w, too. it's the sort of picture that has a story to it. like you'll forget about it, tucked away in some book, but long from now, you'll find it again, and remember that time you were [however old you are] or when you were living there, or whatever. and if you have kids, they'll be surprised what you looked like so long ago, and..yea. just a whole story to it. maybe a happy one, maybe not, but a story to a photo is always interesting.
