Same backstory as before.Β Her name is Jocelyn Parker, coming from a world where May and Ben Parker had a child of their own that grew up with Peter (their cousin).
During an internship with Oscorp she worked on a project involving bioengineering spiders, in hopes of replicating what happened to Spider-Man. She ended up being bitten by one of the spiders upon its escape, and got the expected powers. Yada yada yada, several costumes later and she's her own super hero. You know the drill.
