Hello! It's been a while, happy new years to you all deviantart guys <3, and also, thanks a lot for the birthdays messages lots of you left me in my front page a couple days ago ;w; (I'm still going through them!) and also there's been many messages I haven't replied to yet since I've been a bit away from DA lately, as usual, haha.Anyways, first traditional-colored drawing of the year : D
For a long time I've been doing some.. slightly sequenced drawings of my character Aria,
(In sequence order, but not actually chronological order in which they were made) have been:
- Floating fav.me/d32ky1u ,
- Falling fav.me/d393ab2 ,
- Now comes -this one- "Landing",
- and then Drifting fav.me/d4ta43t
(What's after that is still a mystery (?))

Quick question pls, what type of paper do you find goes best with copic markers, like for this drawing?

Oh hmm, I usually don't mind type of paper too much (I should though) but any paper that's not super thin will work good I suppose? I mean, copics are alcohol-based so they go through thin paper easily, so thick is good : P any paper that would work for watercolor should work with copics just fine

Beautiful! Only thing I'll say, is it seems like the perspective from the top half to the bottom half doesn't really add up. The sky and the umbrella are kind of from this worms eye dynamic angle, and the foreground is more straightforward. If you cover up either section with your hand, you can kinda see what I'm talking about. Still, kudos for attempting such a tough angle, especially with marker and colored pencil! This piece is pretty lovely regardless.
