It makes no sense to try to trick ourselves and think that here (Chile) it would snow in december.... or that the many old guys dressed as Santa with those huge coats... are comfortable with the +30°C out there (in F°.. that's.... very hot)...Because yeah, more than once or twice I've had to explain "yes~ we have chrismtas during summer!"

"because we live in the southern hemisphere ¦ D our seasons are switched you know?"
"oooh~"
Xmas during summer? yeah it's still possible P : I just know for sure more than a few people will go "omg that's weird o_o".

The only thing I'm grateful about that, is that we get summer holidays/vacation during xmas, so instead of 2 weeks, we have those 2 or 3 months free : D

Una vez yo pasé la Navidad con nieve en Chile, pero fue en Aysén y tenía como cinco años, no es imposible.
También durante el gobierno de la UP hubo un temporal catastrófico en verano con una fuerte nevazón en la zona central que destruyó las cosechas, etc. Fue en verano, pero no en Navidad.
Y respecto a los viejos pascueros acalorados, no es nada en comparación a los "góticos", "emos", y todas esas "tribus" que usan abrigos de látex, bufandas, etc. en los momentos más inesperados.

this is soo cool. i LOVE your drawings. I have a question, u draw them manually right? not with computer. So when u scan them on the computer how do u get them to stay preety. cause when i scan my drawings the scann ugly the coloring is off ans stuff like that.I would really appreciate ur help

I hate how when I was little I would watch cartoons near Christmas, and it would snow in the cartoon, and when it actually WAS Christmas, I'd be upset that it didn't snow, and never did snow on any of the four Christmases that I'd lived through...and then I learned that it didn't snow on Christmas. Damn those cartoons that break that hearts of little kiddies that want it to snow

haha this is great! I grew up in southern florida so i understand. lol
my best friend and I had a battle with sculpting sand and our subject was snowmen so I was going to do a snowman like the one you drew! But I decided to be really mature and make my snowman leaning over and sticking his toungue out at my best friend's snow-macho-woman. hehe

I like it a lot, that's cool looking. And I personally hate cold weather. Where I live it is winter, but not very cold and definitely, definitely not snowing. It doesn't feel like winter.

It sucks to not have snow on Christmas. It's prolly kind of dumb to also see all the stuff in Christmas like posters or something with snow on them. Snow's one of the greatest things in the world. It always makes things look more quiet and peaceful.
I guess i sort of know the feeling though since where i live it just gets cold and no snow, but winter is still the best season to me .
