My rescue green cheek conure, Laharl, passed away suddenly about a month ago. I have known Laharl since a baby and he was 8yrs old. Was my ex's bird so I took him to live with my flock 2 years ago. He was loved by everyone, especially my mom and boyfriend. I believe he choked on his food, he was perfectly healthy. He choked on an almond before and I had to give the birdie Heimlich maneuver to save him. The food recently changed the ingredients and after just a couple days it happened. So that is my best guess.

I wasn't sure about adopting another green cheek but at my work someone brought this guy in for a rehome. Everything was pointing me to him and I ended up adopting him the next day now another bird gets to live a happy life. He is a pineapple green cheek conure 1 1/2yrs old. Changed his name from Fabio to Loki
