ms paint + photoshop. im still shaken up from today. my friend is ok, for those who don't read my statuses. but he attempted suicide. again.
im so sorry aiden. im a terrible friend.
i might enable comments later. i just feel so overwhelmed.

i recently lost a good friend of mine to an intentional heroin overdose, he had so many people that loved him to the ends of the earth, but when people are suicidal, those things often go out of the window, as others have said in the comments. your friend's multiple attempts have nothing to do with the quality of you or your friendship and you shouldn't carry any blame on your shoulders because 1) it's not good for your mental health, and 2) if he knows you feel this way, it'll probably make him feel guilty you know??
please take care of yourself my guy, and continue being there for your friend with love and positivity.

stop blaming yourself for how others feel. you're a great friend bc an example is that you always make my day a bit better because when I'm feeling shitty you make me laugh and forget even for a little while. that's all it takes, you're trying and it's appreciated so so much. you can't blame yourself if someone's suicidal. it's themselves dude. it's their problems they're trying to cope. all you can do is be there for them when they need it. i know it's tough on your heart to be going through this (after many times, I know) but you're so strong you can't even see it, but you're a quality friend for staying. you were worried while others laughed it off, he deserves a good friend like you.

you are not a bad friend! you are a good friend for caring and being worried. of course, you cannot control everything that happens in this world, you're only human. but you're trying your best to be supportive and I admire that... while others might not even care about how he's doing or what he's done.

it's not at all your fault!! as long as you're there for him when you can be, you're doing the best you can and that's enough.
the harsh reality is that you can't always stop someone from doing these things when they've hit a certain mentality, and it seems he's hit that mentality.
a friend of mine committed suicide last year and it really sucks, but try not to blame yourself. i hope you all feel better!! i'm glad he's still alive.

I have some amazing friends but sometimes I get so suicidal that I'm literally.. completely unable to see that. I think that might be the case for him as well..
I seriously hope he'll feel better soon. I'm sorry to hear all of this.

suicide is a strong feeling and thought and no matter how great friends are can be it can still be thought of and tried , when people are suicidal they dont realize everything they have
youve said everything you can , done everything you could , it has to be left to the professionals if its gotten this far

hey, just wanted to say a couple things. 1. this is really good and you're great at bird anatomy.
2. i hope you and your friend start feeling better. this link has some info on suicide. i used a website similar to this to prevent a couple suicides, so i think it'd help. i really hope that everything gets better moving forward. if aiden has an iphone, i recommend he gets an app called BoosterBuddy — it's really good for people with suicidal thoughts or mental illnesses.
