if someone used it, it's not me
it's probably old glue used to put posters on the metallic surface. and the tile-looking places are just where the paint is gone and the rust is more serious.

the drawing is an arabic writing. it's a boy's name: Mustafa.

as for the photographic secrets, they are secret

i was quite sure this was heavily manipulated , but it doesnΒ΄t seem to be . Then itΒ΄s extraordinary fine shot .

i did work a lot on the contrast. it was all shades of grey in real life
thank you!

Gotta love that rust. It's almost like an accidental, sun bleached Rothko.

the accidental part is fascinating, for me.

oh no, this is just paint and rust on a metallic surface in the street.

De l'art involontaire?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

partiallyHere In reply to djailledie [2011-05-28 11:14:21 +0000 UTC]

djailledie In reply to partiallyHere [2011-06-10 05:03:17 +0000 UTC]

partiallyHere In reply to djailledie [2011-06-10 12:16:51 +0000 UTC]

djailledie In reply to partiallyHere [2011-06-17 04:59:07 +0000 UTC]

partiallyHere In reply to djailledie [2011-06-17 08:18:51 +0000 UTC]

djailledie In reply to partiallyHere [2011-06-20 04:47:48 +0000 UTC]

partiallyHere In reply to Izaaaaa [2011-05-28 11:18:56 +0000 UTC]

it's a weird one, abstraction art that seems so intentional!
while we know it wasn't

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RichardLeach In reply to partiallyHere [2011-05-27 17:06:39 +0000 UTC]

yes - if this were hung as a painting in a museum with an artist's name signed we would believe it - and the beauty of it is the same either way, as unintentional piece captured or intended piece.

in a way it's like shooting nature - the beauty was not put there by a person but is waiting to be framed by the photographer.

though in this case there are obvious human traces but the beauty was unintended.

(i know i'm talking a lot. it's too wet to go outside and mow the grass )

well, i like to read you, however long it can get!
but admit you're trying to fly away from your manly duty to mow the grass!

can't you ask those coming for the tree to do the grass, just for this time?
i will not tell B
