Wide angle shot again...The title was suggested by one of our good friends, and I think it sticks very well to this picture.
A nice "melting" gaze here I tought.

A splendid venture into distorting perspectives.
It's almost as if Meli is emerging from thin air, yet within everything which is happening a single perfect eye looks on. Those perfect lines, and the way Meli's iris is set like a gem is so captivating. In someways this accentuated eye shape has echoes of Egypt and the Pharos, when living gods walked the Earth, and Meli has a kindred eternal beauty beyond compare.
Maybe a Goddess walks amongst us?

I believe using perspective on such a "winding" subject as Meli can create surprising effects, so I find the result here interesting and love the way she stand-out.
I see your fascination for the eyes surging strongly for this shot, as I read your poetic description and praise of Meli's look for the camera.
A goddess? Hahaha, maybe to some of us mere mortals...

Cette photo a un côté cabaret que j'adore. C'est burlesque, décadant, décalé ... je sais pas, Méli parait à la fois autoritaire mais aussi douce, et le côté perspective déformante donne une coloration si irréaliste à l'ensemble que ca décale toute la perception. J'aime le concept, vraiment, chapeau bas les amoureux!

Comme pour "decadence", je suis plutôt satisfait du rendu de l'équation pose/perspective. On a pu jouer sur les proportions d'une façon qui m'a semblé assez heureuse et sans être gratuite... Cette lentille donne une proximité, voire une promiscuité avec le sujet qui ne peut laisser indifférent, d'où sans doute une partie du côté burlesque que j'aime comme toi.
C'est vrai, ça destabilise un peu mais je suis bien content que tu aimes le résultat, merci beaucoup!!
