The audience: *Applause*
PartnerT: Today, I have a story to tell right here on this stage. Before we start, we have to say “Bibbity, bibbity, bobbity-boo!” So the first one, Bibbity, bibbity, bobbity-boo! The second one, Bibbity, bibbity, bobbity-boo! And the last one!

The Frog Princess

PartnerT: That’s right! This is the story that I am gonna tell you right here on this stage. Sit back and relax as I tell you the story of The Frog Princess.
Once upon a time, a Frog Princess named Jamie T. was hopping to a well. He decided that he would relax by the well. Princess Jamie T. didn’t notice that there was someone playing by the well. It was a prince named Tape. Prince Tape was a kind-hearted, but spoiled princess. He played with his golden ball when he was bored. It was one of Prince Tape’s favorite games.
[Prince Tape]
My golden ball, oh, my dear ball!
May you go up high as the sun
And come back into my arms.
[PartnerT]
Boing, boing, tap!
Tumble, tumble and SPLASH!
PartnerT: Suddenly, his golden ball fell into a well!
[Prince Tape]
My golden ball!
It fell into the well!
What should I do?
PartnerT: Princess Jamie T. who overheard Prince Tape’s cry hops onto the well and asks…
Princess Jamie T.: Why are you so sad, Prince?
Prince Tape: *Sniff* My golden ball fell into the well!
[Princess Jamie T.]
Oh, Prince, what will you do for me
if I find your golden ball?
[Prince Tape]
Anything!
The clothes, the crown!
Anything, anything you want!
[Princess Jamie T.]
No, no. That’s not what I want.
I want us to be best friends until the very end!
Prince Tape: Uh… sure.
I want to eat together with you.
Every meal and snacks, too!
Prince Tape: Oh… okay.
I want to go to bed by your side all through the night!
Prince Tape: Okay, okay! I said okay!
[Prince Tape]
But now, go and find my golden ball!
PartnerT: Princess Jamie T. the Frog Princess jumped into the well. While waiting for the frog, Prince Tape felt a little uneasy and thought…
Prince Tape: Hmph! What a silly frog! How can a frog and a prince be friends?
PartnerT: A moment later, Princess Jamie T. came out from the well with the golden ball!
Princess Jamie T.: I found it!
[Prince Tape]
My golden ball!
PartnerT: Prince Tape soon raced back to the castle while holding hid golden ball. Princess Jamie T. soon followed him and said…
Princess Jamie T.: Wait for me, Prince, wait for me! I cannot run fast like you! You made the promise to me! I have short legs and running too slow!
PartnerT: But Prince Tape didn’t look back and he went back home to the castle. Princess Jamie T. soon became sad and thought…
Princess Jamie T.: I should knock on the door and maybe he will let me in!
PartnerT: The next day, as Prince Tape was eating his meal with his brother, Princess Olivia, there was a loud knock on the door.
Princess Olivia: Who is it?
Prince Tape: It's just nothing. Everything is fine.
PartnerT: Another loud knock on the door was heard and a voice shouted…
[Princess Jamie T.]
Please, open this door for me, Prince Olivia!
By the well, your sister made a promise!
I know he’s honest!
[Chorus]
I know he’s honest.
[Princess Jamie T.]
Please, open this door for me, Princess Olivia!
PartnerT: Princess Olivia suddenly knew that everything was not fine.
Princess Olivia: Hey, brother! Can you tell me what in the world is going on?
Prince Tape: Alright, fine! Here is the truth: I have met an ugly frog who wants to help me to bring my golden ball, but before that, she told me that I have to keep my promise to be her friend! I don’t really know what to do!
Princess Olivia: Well, then, since you have told the truth, I guess that I have said that it was important to keep a promise.
Prince Tape: Why is that?
PartnerT: And Princess Olivia replied…
[Princess Olivia]
A promise made is a promise kept.
Don’t ignore the one who helped you.
It’s your turn to accept.
Now, you may open the door for her.
PartnerT: Prince Tape has no choice, but to do it as his sister had said. He opened the door and Princess Jamie T. the ugly Frog Princess jumped out through the door!
[Princess Jamie T.]
I’m so glad to see you again, my Prince!
PartnerT: Princess Jamie T. hopped onto a chair and begged Princess Olivia to pick her up. She did so as she said.
[Princess Jamie T.]
Bring me up on the table,
I’ll sit next to my Prince!
Hand me the plate, the golden plate.
I’ll eat together with my Prince!
PartnerT: Princess Olivia curiously watched Princess Jamie T. jumping around and eating delicious food. Prince Tape soon began to feel anxious and uneasy and lost his appetite. After eating all of the food, Princess Jamie T. said to Princess Olivia…
Princess Jamie T.: Thanks for the meal, Princess Olivia! Well, if you mind if you let me go to your brother’s room? I want to sleep on his soft bed and fall asleep!
PartnerT: Prince Tape’s tears began to flow out from her eyes. He can’t do that, but he remembered the promise he had kept for Princess Jamie T..
[Prince Tape]
What was I thinking?!
I wasn’t thinking!
Eww! Eww! He’s so gross!
Are we friends now?
It’s hard to admit!
I made a promise.
I should keep it.
PartnerT: Princess Jamie T. hopped into Prince Tape’s room. She climbed onto the bed, but couldn’t because she was too short to reach.
Princess Jamie T.: Prince! Can you pick me up on your bed? I wanna sit next to you!
PartnerT: But Prince Tape didn’t listen. Princess Jamie T. knew that he might break a promise she had given to him!
Princess Jamie T.: Put me up! If you don’t pick me up and break your promise, I’m gonna tell your sister about this!
[PartnerT]
Prince Tape tried to keep his temper,
But she couldn’t stand it any longer.
He threw the frog away!
PartnerT: Princess Jamie T. was thrown to the floor. She began to wiggle. Suddenly, her face started to shine and her pink hair started to glow. As she woke, she was now happy that she became a princess again!
Princess Jamie T.: WOO-HOO!
[Princess Jamie T.]
I was cursed by evil magic.
I was turned into a frog which was gross and tragic.
Only you can save me.
You broke the curse and set me free!
PartnerT: Princess Jamie T. thanked Prince Tape for saving her life.
[Princess Jamie T.]
Thank you for saving me, Prince Tape!
Now, it’s time for me to go back home, and live happily, happily ever after!
For now, I’ll go!
PartnerT: Princess Jamie T m waved goodbye to Prince Tape and Princess Olivia and went back home to her kingdom. She lived happily ever after! There is the moral of the story: “Always keep their promise.” Well, this is PartnerT’s Story Musical, signing off! Goodbye!
