Story:
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far away, there lived Queen Beidou, King Kazuha and their daughter, Princess Barbara. They lived in very harmony together. One day, Princess Barbara has a request. "I want to marry a prince!" Princess Barbara said. "What kind of prince?" Queen Beidou said. "A true prince!" Princess Barbara said. Queen Beidou and King Kazuha agreed her request and went off to find a true prince, but they couldn't because some of the princes from neighboring countries look alike, what they do and what they say. Some princes are loud, some princes are quiet, some princes are kind, some princes are rude and some princes are scary.

Queen Beidou and King Kazuha soon began to lose hope for Princess Barbara. One cold rainy night, there was a knock at the door. "Who is it?" Queen Beidou asked. "A prince!" A voice said. Queen Beidou and King Kazuha opened the door and saw a very wet prince. "Who are you?" King Kazuha asked. "I'm Prince Bennett." He said. "I was kicked out from another village. Won't you mind if I stay?" "Sure thing!" Queen Beidou said. They allowed Prince Bennett to stay inside their castle. "Are you a true prince?" Princess Barbara said. "Yes." Prince Bennett said. King Kazuha became so confused and thought, "How can Prince Bennett can be a true prince?"

Queen Beidou, King Kazuha and Princess Barbara soon had a conversation. "How would we know if Prince Bennett was actually a true prince?" Princess Barbara asked. "I have an idea!" Queen Beidou said. "What's the idea, Queen Beidou?" King Kazuha asked. "I will put a pea under the bed!" Queen Beidou said. "It will know the truth that Prince Bennett was a true prince or not!" So, Queen Beidou puts the pea on the bed and her maids stacks up 12 mattresses, 12 feathered mattresses, 12 blankets and 6 pillows. "We have finished up your bedroom, Prince Bennett!" Queen Beidou said. "Thank you, you're majesty." Prince Bennett said. He climb onto his bed and fell asleep. "Nighty, night!" Queen Beidou said.

The next day, Queen Beidou, King Kazuha and Princess Barbara soon woken up on time and had their breakfast. They saw the drowsy Prince Bennett. "Why did you wake up so late?" Princess Barbara asked. "I saw something bumpy under my bed!" Prince Bennett said. "I tousled and turned. It hurt my back!" "That's because I put a pea under your bed!" Queen Beidou said. Prince Bennett ran to his bedroom and pulled out the pea. Princess Barbara was so delighted that Prince Bennett was a true prince! "Only a true prince can only feel the pea under the bed!" King Kazuha said happily. And so, Prince Bennett got married to Princess Barbara and they lived happily ever after!
