Uncontrolled immigration is nobody's friend, and recognizing that is not racism no matter how you spin it. It's a great quote by Debs but painting everyone who wants borders to exist as "far right" is total nonsense.

You do realize Debs lived between 1855 and 1926 when workplace bigotry and racism was a very real and constant public issue and that was what he was talking about. Neither quote has anything to do with immigration at all and that you took it there seems to indicate a gross (and possibly intentional) misunderstanding of the quote and it's historical context.

Did you miss the part where I said "it's a great quote by Debs"? And did you read the description? I'm familiar with Party's politics so I know who this piece is aimed against. Hint: It's the only British political party that sticks up for workers all the time but is constantly slandered as racist and "far right". I completely agree with Debs here and I think it's a shame that it's being appropriated for use as baseless slander.

Again, let me bring you back to the description. When party says "far right" he means parties who want to be able to choose who we let in. A common argument for this policy is to say that totally uncontrolled immigration from anywhere would depress wages with too many unskilled workers, and it would be better to take in the same number of skilled workers from different countries, hence appealing to the working man who actually has to worry about wage depression. Party is attempting to undercut the issue by playing that DAS RACIST card, as usual.

Any capitalist party that claims to stand up for the workers is either lying or delusional. Capitalism is an inherently exploitive, oppressive, and destructive system.

Capitalism works fine given it is regulated and guided by the state in order to help the disadvantaged and working class in a society. Communism is a fallacy and is inherently flawed on paper and in practice.
