I think the US Founders were the only group of people in history that got it right(as in they didn't screw over the people they said they'd help)  when it comes to being oppressed and fighting against it.

What Washington came down on was the near violence and rioting. Also while Washington had a habit of threatening people with insubordination, cowardice, or treason during the War of Independence, he never did what was done to people who commit such acts during war time. What Washington knew how to do is put the proverbial 'Fear of God' into people without having to pull the trigger or some other act of violence.

YES. And isn't it curious how the society the US Founders created, is Exactly what socialism wants to destroy? One might think they wanted the Elites to rule over them, as the Dukes and Duchesses of another day once did.

Of course, I suspect they view Themselves as being the Dukes and Duchesses.....
