This is an illustration practice for the module 'Developing Illustration and Animation Practice' at the University of Art and Design in Loughborough, UK, where I'm currently spending my semester abroad.We have to make a book focusing on a person, object or philosophy that we hate. Hate is a strong word and our imagery should reflect this emotion. What is hate? Why do people hate? Why do you hate it? Have you ever encountered this subject at first hand? Do you hate it because your peers do?
What is your experience / philosophy regarding hate? I want to collect as much research material as possible

Sounds like an interesting project.
And I feel the girl is translating the "hate" very well into a strong facial expression. The colours certainly help nail the mood, too.

Wow... sehr genialer Gesichtsausdruck - unheimlich passend.
Ehrlich gesagt hasse ich zur Zeit nichts und niemanden. Das ist nicht immer so. Aber Hass ist so ein starkes Gefühl, das sich nur sehr selten ans Tageslicht bahnt.
Wenn ich hasse, dann bezieht sich das normalerweise auf Menschen. Und bisher hat es nicht einmal eine handvoll Menschen geschafft, dass ich sie zeitweise gehasst habe: ein Typ, der mir mal die Nase gebrochen hat, der Partner einer ehemals sehr guten Freundin von mir, der sie von all ihren nahen Freunden total entfernt hat und meine erste Ex-Freundin, weil sie mein Selbstwertgefühl systematisch zerstört hatte.
