This is an older image, from a few years ago I just found again.I always liked it ...
Sometimes, I feel like the work I did a few years back was better than what I do now....but , generally, it's just because it looks different than what I do at the moment, not because it is necessarily better.

Ho , I know.. it's different... not better nor worse, just different. I like that about art in general. I think the notion of "better" is something we all learned from school, friends, parents, etc etc.. but.. there is no such thing in art. I still have to keep reminding myself of it too.

I agree completely. Having followed you more recently (within the past year) I can say that compositionally, your new stuff is leagues ahead of this one. But in kind of the same way I have old sketches and stuff that I think look unlike anything I'm doing today but I hold on to for sentimental reasons.
