Well, unfortunately they did it to themselves. It's an ugly situation. As a fan, it hurts to watch. I hate to admit it, but I am a little grateful for their losses if only because they signal change. It needs to happen. I am starting to have my doubts about their new GM also. I think he is so hell bent on getting Smith in as the starting QB that he may not be thinking straight. I don't think that kid is ready or talented enough yet for a starting job. Couple that with a coach who isn't a "big picture" coach and you have a recipe for failure. He put Sanchez in last Saturday because he wanted to win a pre-season game ? Who actually worries about winning preseason games ? You basically play preseason to test your systems and work on their Β flaws.
