Oh man, your stuff is always so incredibly sensitive. Such warm colours and such a location, it truly is like a dream. Not to mention, screw fancy dinners and movie-going - this would be the best date ever.

Yep, he's the guy. I don't remember exactly, but I think it was "The Amber Spyglass" that there were a scene I thought of in. It was set in a cave and the main character was sleeping on the ground and other things I don't remember like all of them wearing furs or what... Anyways I thought of it.

Because the movie was... eh... bad. I liked it, and it made me to read the books, but that was several years ago, when it came out and I was younger. And since I am generally very young nowadays, I was even younger. The books were tons times better, but I also can't guarantee you that it isn't after all kids stuff for kids like me, but something better.

Ooooh, please please please, do pick up the book! They're among my favourites, but I hated the movie. The ending isn't even the same as the book. The whole thing was a huge mess.
One of Pullman's greatest assets is the way he tells the story - he gives you the right ammount of information, bit by bit, at the right moments and in the right order, and he always keeps you wanting more. The movie completely ruined that.
