I keep coming back to this one (usually in the wee hours, like tonight) so it's no wonder I'm drawn to the familiarly of this piece. I'm a writer, not a visual artist, but that's "Still an Artist", right? 😉 My work scene is nearly identical, only with words on paper strewn about the room, rather than drawings. Somehow, it eases my anxiety to know that I'm not ONLY up late because I procrastinate, but because night is a creative time for many of us "artists". I like to think that right now, creative juices are flowing in the off-hours of cultures around the globe - that it is not as lonely as it sometimes feels on the surface.

I am fueled by your work on this night, as I have been on many nights prior. Thank you for filling me up and sustaining me in the unique way that only (rare) art can.
