I fight back tears as look at this one. The years seem to fly by and, before you know, she has a life of her own. I'd like to put this in my faves gallery, please? I just told a friend about this.
It's a joy to see how you've illustrated this father-daughter relationship. Oh, if you have a daughter, you don't have to fear the end. She will, I hope be in good hands with her next partner in The Dance.

If you cut it out and hold the start and the end together he says farewell to his own younger self and the reason is the pregnancy of his wife->entry into parenthood. Would you have make the girl a boy it would've become the dad bringing up his past kid self in order to be his own dad and to start the cycle over and over again by turning the formation clockwise. What would have been pretty mindblowing. But I think I like this with the daughter even more as a more subtle approach on the universal truth that essentially older children raising younger children in this world of ours. And it made the nice dance theme (as a symbole of raising up the daughter) possible in the first place.
