Seal of Aldovar, About the dragon nests.
Dragons make their nests on large hills, (sometimes fells, not usually mountains), which creates a very recognizable shape in the terrain. From the hill rises a ring of sharp stones, or a mound, clearly higher than the trees or other vegetation. In the center of the ring, a deep cavity is dug into the ground, which is usually a solid rock pad. Dragons spend most of their time in the lair, sometimes for centuries, sleeping, or otherwise enhancing their nest.
A wise man once said:
It is very hard to wake up a sleeping dragon. And if you somehow manage to complete such a task, RUN!
