I feel like sometimes i just go through phases where i draw nothing but one character and im not giving enough ~variety~ or smthn lol

Oh yeah, same here xD im sure if I looked back thu my stuff, it'd prolly just be one character constantly drawn and then a random switch and the cycle would continue like that xD

yep lol, that sounds like me. i do try to force myself to draw other characters when im in a phase where i draw nothing but one character, but idk if it's just me, when im in that phase and i try to draw a different character it just looks wrong and i just dont know why so i go back to drawing that one character lol

Yeah I get that lol I mean, I guess it doesn't look awful to me tho, it just really dulls in comparison to the drawing of/with the character I'm stuck on

it also feels different when you're not drawing that character, not as,,, uh,,, fulfilling? or ?? idk? it's just a different feeling lol.

yeah sort of??? sorta like when you draw something when you have an art block and it feels like something is missing and it's just wrong
