A unicorn that dreamed to become a Princess and the unicorn that did.
What always pulls me to this ship is how their stories mirror and then foil each other.
Early on Twilight could have easily been on the same path as Sunset, only caring for knowledge and forgoing bonds. But where one searched for power and wound up alone the other found through friendship, true power, and was blessed with ascension. And from sharing those bonds Twilight pulled Sunset from the darkness bringing her back round circle.
