Background:
When he was younger, Amaru's mother would always tell him and his siblings stories full of wonder and tales of heroes defeating huge monsters and stopping sly thieves. His favorites included the story of the hero Perseus and the snake-haired maiden, Medusa. While he wasn't too focused on the story itself, Amaru thought snake hair sounded cool and liked to think that Medusa gave the fight her all instead of running for her life like a coward, his mom never got too into details.

During the Dream:
Amaru wasn't exactly sure about what was happening at the moment and his mind felt hazy. Things popped up here and there but the one thing that really seemed to stick was his mother's stories, especially the one about Medusa. A voice sounded in his head, chuckling a little at his selection in favorite stories.

After the Dream:
Amaru was already up on his paws, glancing around at the strange new place he was in. There was many others who seemed just a out of it as he. There was one vixen who stood out to him though, she looked sad even when unconscious so he thought he'd go do the kind thing and wake her up...
