I think id rather take Strickler too than a guy who leaves our 5 year old son and me behind to run away
with another woman.
Jims dad is an ass and Jim has better dads now anyways like Strickler and Blinky
I love Barbara and Strickler together, they are my OTP in the show >3<

I hope they will somewhat be on better terms again in season 2 QwQ
I think it became very noticeable for them that they both had feelings for one another.
Its jsut that Strickler also wanted to follow his own goals and ended up hurting Barbara in the process TTATT
He knows what he did wrong and he is sorry about it all.
I hope they´ll give him a redemption arc in season 2
Strickler is one of my favorite charackters and I love him and Barbara together so much that a friend of mine and
I even made a fanchild OC for them

Yep, I noticed it too. Strickler did screw up but he was very sorry for his deeds. I would love to see that.

First few episodes in, I already liked Strickler and he is a favorite. I saw that of, very cute. I've never made ocs that are related to canon characters, never had the confidence to do it. But liking Strictler is what inspired me to make my changeling oc.

That last few episodes of season 1 broke my heart, not only did 2 more of my fav charas die (I have like 4 fav characters in this show so far XD )no, also one of the only ships I actually liked broke appart in the worst way possible TTATT

It actually took me until episode 11 to realize that he is one of my faves
He tries to do right for his people but also began really likeing the relationship he started with Barbara,
he seems often in conflict with himself actually.
And yeah, he was the inspiration for my changeling OC too XD
The entire conept of changelings is actually really interesting to me, as its partialy based on actuall norwegian Troll folklore
The fanchild OC a friend and I made is basicly part of an alternate universe, actually I always see OCs as part of an alternate universe XD

I do too, if any character I've grown to like deserves it. It's Strickler. I was sad about AAARGH too, I was hoping that the would be able to last till they were able to defeat Gunmar but nope.

I liked him really quick, though maybe that's due to me liking bad guys as they are often more interesting or unique compared to heroes often times. Not every time but a good amount of time. I agree with the conflict with himself, in fact I felt like he was in conflict with himself from the get go as he was friends with Jim. He seemed to care about him and he did try to get Jim to just hand the amulet over rather than killing him. Even when he refused to give it, Strickler didn't kill him. Instead he switched the amulet with a fake. I don't think Strickler is quite at the point where he would kill Jim and that bond with Barbara would only make it harder for him to do so. At least in my mind.

I haven't read much on the real mythologies but I do know the basics of it even before I watched Trollhunters. I should do that sometime. Usually I don't have my characters involved in the canon of the shows. So for my oc Sherlock, he's just arriving in Arcadia right at the end of season 1. Unaware of everything that had gone on with the bridge and Trollhunter. For him, I had him get separated from a group of Changelings back in the old days and he hasn't had contact with them since as he's just been moving from place to place when the time is right as he still looks young; as I assume changelings age much slower than humans and that factor would play into their human forms.

Well Arrrgh will be in season two, but as far as I know only in flashbacks as season 2 is said to
explore the characters backstorys more, and im really excited to see that
Im still sad though, the show killed all of my fav characters except for Strickler so far QwQ

I am also someone who often tends to like the villains more, I think they are often more interesting, but
I actually stopped seeing Strickler as an actuall villain after episode 11 XD
I think the fact that he did not really wanted to hurt Jim but did if it was necessary and that they slowly but surely did develop him actually haveing feelings for Barbara gave him a bit more depth, depth that not many shows give thier villains.
And the fact that he rarely ever was seen in his Troll from only shows to me that he seems to feel more human than troll.

There is actually a found footage movie called " Troll Hunter" (yeah I know) that has quite some mythology of Trolls in it and some different types of trolls.
Its supposed to be a horror movie but to me its just really interesing, and its actually good
But yeah my OC is often on the move to actually get away from other changelings since she hates what they are and that they have to serve Gunmar, also she is often annoyed of anything anyways
The only one she keeps around (but only as something like a guard dog ) is my other Troll OC Haggard

Ich finde es einfach so süß wie sich das mit den beiden entwickelt hat und ich glaube schon das er Barbara wirklich liebt
