Well I enjoy being mean to my characters as it spices things up. Sherlock doesn't full out enjoy it yet but he got separated from fellow changelings ages ago and he carried on life as a normal person. While not canon the show, he actually struggles to switch back to his troll form as he's so used to being in human form. But my friend and I do plan for him to fall for her human, do that'll give your character something more to hate him with.

I made my Emmelie here a bit of a crazy girl whos condition only got worse over the
hundreds of years of haveing to pretend to be a human. Thats also why she hates basicly everyone
and everything. She just has a really short temper by now
That is actually the first time I made an OC like her, im trieing to take a few more risks with her

Though I can see why your OC has struggles turning into his troll from, it may not be entirely canon but I hope they
explain a bit more about changelings in the second season.
I also want to say that, I rewatched the first season a lot and it seems to me that Strickler also rather enjoyed his human form. Even in the face of danger her rarely ever turned back into his troll form O_o

Trying new things is good and can be fun even with ones own characters. Sherlock had a more darker personality in the old days but he mellowed out greatly due to his time away from conflict with his own kind and jut hanging around the humans. Though he does have moments were that old side of him can come out personality wise.

So do i. I'm curious on if the baby familiars grow up as the changeling grows up. How would Jim know which baby would be Strickler's familiar if he indeed chooses to rescue others besides Claire's baby brother? So many questions that I would love to see answered. That is true, Strickler's real form feels like a last resort method despite his eyes changing the most during the show and those are for short moments. To me it's kind of more like a instinct thing but he could've been doing the eye change on his own.

Daww, that actually sounds interesing
I like giveing OCs more than just the basic backstory, personality and crush, it makes them feel
like atcuall characters in my eyes.
Just giveing them more history and even random things such as..i dunno favorite food or stuff like that

I already had my theories about the Babys in the darklands
Like what if they stay forever a baby as long as they are in the darklands.
Does a changeling age like a normal Troll or like a Human and IF they age like a Troll do they have to change
thier familiars when these grow to old?
There are quite some holes in that concept wich is why I hope they explore it more in the second season.
Though  I gotta say in the original Trollhunters book there is a character that is not in the show, he was kidnapped by Trolls at the age of 13 and stayed 13 pysically ever since, mentaly he grew however.
But then again, a lot of things work a bit different in the book than in the show

Thanks. I've left a lot of Sherlock's past a mystery as I'm not quite sure on what to have happen as well as explain it. Plus I do like to leave room for other peoples characters to have a place in it, without having to rewrite the whole thing.

Oh interesting. I've yet to read the books but I am tempted. Perhaps one day we'll get the answered.

The funny thing is a friend of mine here on DA has a Changeling OC who actually thinks in a very similar way
