I took a trip back down to the isolated small cove next to Portreath, the last trip i had down here was from my last id shot [link] I got down there about half an hour before the sun set just to give me a chance to see what positions would be worth getting. The tide was in and the sea was quite rough, so I didnt have much beach to play with, and i was running up and down it dodging the waves and avoiding getting cut off.

As the sun set it began to drizzle.....but i thought i might aswell try and see what i could capture before i got worse and i was able to capture the rain cloud passing overhead, and the movement of the breaking waves. I then made a swift climb back up the cliff back to the car before it got too dark and i got too wet.

Development

Taken and Proccessed in RAW, curves were added to boost the contrast of the image, removed sensor dust and also used Neat Image to irradicate unwanted noise, unsharpenmask was used twice in the image; one, to sharpen and another to boost contrast in the detailed areas.
