I'll tell ya - Rune factory is basically a harcest moon, combined with dungeon hunting. So, you'll have your farm, and the ladies and the marrying, all the while ging into various dungeon, battling foes, defeating endbosses, cathing pets and use them in farm life as well as for making use of their horns etc. to make gifts or better weapons and accesories. There's a good story line in them.
I my self play Rune Factory: Frontier, on the wii periodically, but there are also rune factory's on the GBA, which seem fun too. I'll stick to the wii, because it's 3D. Both games have a story line, but don't worry about "Finishing" the game, since you can, just like in HW, play on as long as you'd like.

I myself used to love harvest moon games, But this game really beats them for me. I say you should try one of them, they are defenitly worth the shot!

oh gosh yess!!! if we stay friends Ide be so excited to hear that you play!! also im making my own Rune Factory toys! I bought all the pieces and just waiting for them to come in the mail so i can paint and create them! also do you have a DS, Wii, or PS3?? i can recommend which one to play! each game has a different story and characters so you dont have to start at Rune Factory 1.

Oh Yes lol XDDDD We are definetely going to stay friends and I am so happy I met you too. You are an awesome friend and its so awesome that you like anime too lol yeah, I seriously can't wait to play Rune Factory lol^^ It will be so awesome lol XDDDD Wow, you are going to make dolls of the characters from the game??!?!!?!? That is so awesome!!!! When you finish making them, please show them to me, I would really love to see them. Right now, I have a Nintendo DS and I used to have a Wii, but I don't have one anymore because it got lost in storage and I don't have a PS3 right now, but I want one soooo badly. I heard all of the games on there are really awesome and that they have awesome graphics too^^ Since I have a DS right now, you can tell me which Rune Factory game to play. I seriously can't wait to buy it and start my own game on there too^^

YES!! its called the fantasy harvest moon!! its for DS, Wii, and PS3!! the games and art are just great! and its also an RPG so you fight monsters and level up and like choose like if you want to be a mage or sword wielder or hammer lord stuff like that. its pretty cool.

:0 I've had Harvest Moon for gamecube with just the guy (forget which one that was), the one with just the guy for ds (also forgot the name xD) Harvest Moon Magical Melody, and Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility haha
