Really cool design, the antlers really add to his figure to make him more imposing. The simple grey/silver armor matched with the green cape is also a nice touch and nod towards him being what you called a "Forest Lancer".

You have good gradient work, especially on the lance, but on the other hand, it's too shiny and undented to be a weapon, whereas the armor actually does have some texture on. Same goes for the shield. Try to delete some of that highlight with a low density texture brush for the dents, it works wonders
