As the heir to the sun as well as the capability to use chaos magic, Rising Dawn is an extremely powerful political figure. Not only does he act as a negotiator between other countries in times of tension, he also has full power to command each division of the equestrian army- Celestial, Lunar, and Chrystal- in times of war. He is an incredibly strategic leader and is quite fearsome, growing out his mane to resemble a lion and baring his fangs to intimidate anyone brave (or stupid) enough to challenge him. He leads armies personally into battle, attends celebrations for his soldiers, and comforts family members upon the death of their loved ones. Despite being ferocious and fearless and battle, he is surprisingly kind and sweet-natured when off the clock, especially towards children.
