don't ask why I've been dead and only posting little nightmares content, I've been working on an angsty au AMV and this is one of the background shots for it, and I was kinda proud of it so uhh it goes here while I'm working away on other stuff ahsfjdkaf

Honestly though, this was probably the first time I've ever tried to do a full painting of a building/room! A lot of my backgrounds are usually very nature oriented, since their stories revolve around animals and creatures and stuff like that, so I've never tried to paint an actual room you'd find in a house or something. I've practiced perspectives and cityscapes in terms of planes and sketching and stuff, I've just never rendered anything. It was a lot more fun than I thought! It took a bit to get used to using constructive shapes vs. organic shapes, and I still ended up reverting to my roots and just placing "moss" on the walls and boxes and to fill in the gaps because I couldn't resist. I like moss. I mean who knows- maybe the hunter doesn't keep his cabin clean and the forest is very humid. Ya'll saw his kitchen, that place was nasty.

Anyway, super fun to work on something new- time to do it again for the next like 10 shots I have planned for the amv oh boy
