Tori: Hello there everyone. I’m back again and…it’s still raining, but thankfully, the storm’s supposed to stop soon. Anyway, I actually have the mayor of Fandom City with me today for this MerMay day. And don’t worry, Vernor and Nori have been changed back last night. They’re just trying to get everything together again.

Mayor: Well, I hope that Vernor and Nori are getting everything together again. I wouldn’t like it if they didn’t.

Tori: Say, what species are you?

Mayor: Oh! I should explain. I’m a basilisk. I usually don’t look like one, though. I mainly take on a human appearance, but my magic reserves have run low, so your magic made me into a merbasilisk, I think.

Tori: A merbasilisk. Interesting. Never thought the mayor would be a creature like a basilisk.

Mayor: Lots of the citizens also were wondering that for a while now. As for my coloration, I’m an albino basilisk, but I seem to have too much red pigment in my body, with pink being a second color.

Tori: I can see that. Also, for a while now, everyone has been wondering what you’re name is.

Mayor: My name is Esu. Esu the Basilisk.

Tori: Esu… That’s a nice name.

Mayor: It sure is. And thankfully, it’s going to be easy for me. I’m already used to having a tail.

Tori: Cool.

Mayor: You know, I really do think that once I’m a normal basilisk again, I can accept my true self.

Tori: That’s what I’m doing with my real history.

Mayor: Say, Tori, I know this might seem off topic but, do you know why there’s a panic around the city?

Tori: Well, Mayor Esu…we lost the fan episode that Sidetable Drawer is doing a countdown for.

Mayor: And that’s what’s bringing all of the panic?

Tori: Yes. It’s the episode that we thought would never get done.

Mayor: Well, someone better find the film and bring it back to part of this world.

Tori: I hope so too. We don’t have all month.
