Nori: Gah! What’s with the change of the paper?!

Vernor: That would be because back at the start of the year, or maybe the end of last year, I bought some sketchbook paper for art challenges for this year. Fairyary, Date Weeks, MerMay 2023 , Sidetable’s Spectacular Countdown, Pride Month, and Cos-Tober 2023 were all accounted for, with an extra pad for random drawings or if I miscounted. I was saving one for this moment and now, it’s going to be used.

Nori: Oh! That explains it! Wait. If you’re going to be going through what you said you were going to be going through in Part 1, how is it going to affect Cos-Tober?

Vernor: Well, this is where I have to say this now. I’m going to be drawing ALL 31 DAYS ahead of time. I asked a few of my friends if they’d want to participate and they allowed me to use their characters, along with costumes that they’d be wearing and what day they would participate. I only have a few certain days this year for the event, with one of them being during the middle of the night.

Nori: Is someone expecting another baby to come?

Vernor: No, actually. One of them is happening in the night to account for the thing I have to do on the 18th. If I don’t do it in the night, I’m going to miss the day.

Nori: Can’t you do it AFTER the day?

Vernor: Usually, I would, BUT here’s the problem. You know what happens when a sleeping spell affects the body?

Nori: Yep.

Vernor: Now imagine that happening on and off for 24 hours.

Nori: Oh! You’d be too tired after your thing to even do it later in the day!

Vernor: Exactly. And because of that outcome, I knew first thing that I needed to draw the days ahead of time. I’ll have a recovery period of 4-6 weeks and during that time, I can’t draw. All of my art stuff is heavy and I’d have to stick to lightweight things for some time, like my computer and phone.

Nori: So THAT’S why you’re posting this ahead of time!

Vernor: Yes. I need to so they’ll know what’s happening.

Nori: Got it! Though, Vernor, I get why you made a bit of a connection with your thing and a simple spell, but I don’t understand the necklace in the picture. What’s that about?

Vernor: Well, Nori, I believe that now would be the best time to announce something. And this announcement will not only explain the necklace in this picture, but also show how I draw something…or rather a form of someONE…in my own art style.

Nori: What do you- *in realization* Oh, I think I know where this is going.
