Description Um, it's very tall. You might want to download it for the full thing.

This is basically what I do in my figure drawing class. Dum dee dum.

Homework: Take on and refine it into a full illustration. I really like number 10, and considering how I'm going to approach it (I'm thinking inks/sepia tones... but maybe I'll also try a clean digital style I DUNNOOOO)

I admit they're not as fun, but do you ever get dudes for figure drawing?

No we DON'T! No matter how much I beg and wheedle and demand, apparently it's insanely hard to get male models in!!!!! Argh!

That is unfortunate - we got a male model the first day, and as someone who loves drawing muscular dudes, it was good fun. The chunky guy we got later was also enjoyable.

I always figured it'd be easy to get male models. I mean, I'd have offered if we were allowed to model for our own class.

Well, and I seriously need more experience drawing the mens.

I dunno what it is but Portland's men d not want to o sand in front of people and get themselves drawn- clothed or naked! Bah humbug.

That's unfortunate. Men need to be less afraid of these things.

Although, odds are you could go up to any given guy and ask to draw him naked, and he'd be cool with it. Then you'd have a host of new other problems, but you'd have experience drawing dudes.

I think a lot of it is doing it in front of a group of 20 or so people, and the process of getting signed up into our pay system as a model is a pain in the patoot.

Really? You can't just pay them in wads of cash?
We just hang dollar bills off fishing rods - if the model wants one, he or she has to position their pose so that they can reach it. We're kinda unorthodox though. And maybe a little skanky.

I bet the strobe lights provide some interesting lighting set-ups, too.
