Thank you! The watercolor effect comes from doing an achromatic wash with black India ink for the tones, the putting the color over it in Photoshop. It shades everything AND adds a neat texture. ^_^ Thanks again!

That's a skilful doing, well done. =]
I usally put the textures in artwork after it's scanned and coloured, but it becomes a little artificial sometimes, even if I do work in Painter, it's not the same as a paper texture or ink texture..

I see =] I do agree with you patentrose ...I did read a book sometime ago, I don't remember the exact name(fantasy art, fantasy illustration, something like it), the author wrote a cool prologue.. He said that digital tools are no substitute of traditional tools, but an adaption of them, to supply market demand, deadlines, etc

Yeah. A lot of people do some beautiful work entirely digitally, but my favorites always use a combination.
