In the movie version I watched, they gave Margot one friend. The movie also made it seem William bossed everyone around. In the end, the kids give Margot flowers. Except William, where Margot has to go over there and take the flowers out of his hand. MARGOT STABBED THEM ALL TO DEATH WITH PRETTY FLOWERS AND THORNS.

I read this in 6th grade like 4 years ago. I seriously wanted to beat those kids with a pickax when I was done reading the story.
