Thanks a lot! ^_^ I improved by doing studies, painting from reference pictures. The second painting is actually from a picture.

I did watch youtube videos like Sakimichan and Ross Tran, but I still have a lot of improvement to do when it comes to paint without a reference picture lol

That was probably the same moment for me. How do you create your shadows?
I think :thumb629686450: was my moment where I thought my game just got stepped up. Both with lighting and shading.

I use the blending brush with black at low opacity like 4 or 5 % or sometimes its other colors but in dark tones

When I make my shading layer. I lasso the whole character and fill with a dark tone of like a red, blue, green, purple, brown, yellow. And set the opacity to like 40-60% and erase what I don't need.
