Oooh boy, have I been waiting for This one!
Ever since I first saw the prompt list for this year's Mermay, I have always had some funny ideas for the theme of "Insane", but two of them I liked so much that I couldn't decide which one to do. But a little bit into the month, and I had a devious idea. For this day of insanity.... I DID EM' BOTH! Yep, I decided to do not one, but two whole ass drawings for the theme for "Insane".
Starting off with the most appropriate character to represent the theme, Crash Bandicoot (so in this case, the theme might as well be "N-Sane" hehe). Y'know, how weird must it be that my first drawing related to Crash is of him flopping on the beach as a mermaid? Well, guessing by Aku Aku's reaction to this, I'd say pretty frickin weird.
As for him flopping about on the beach, I thought it'd be a funny prospect to think if Crash figured out he was a mermaid, he'd start thinking that he was a fish, and started flopping out of the water to get into character.
Also yes, I have played the N-Sane Trilogy (that I haven't beaten yet), CTR Nitro Fuled, and Crash 4 (which I also haven't beaten yet) only in recent years, seeing as I never fully got into the series until that point.
