Interestingly, I wasn't the one to watch this series first.
My girlriend was and she told me about it.
She said it was about some kid who wakes up dead and finds Haruhi Suzumiya with pink hair shooting at some chick.
"Tenshi is their school council president and the main enemy in the show. She's a psycho bitch, but you'd never know by looking at her."
Why?
"She doesn't look evil, she's beautiful. She's this innocent looking little girl with blue hair, and as soon as the guy walks up to her, she stabs him through the chest!"
13 episode later I see that she is not only a monster, but is truly adorable.
This show also marks the only time I've ever heard an anime man say "aishiteru."
To say that in Japan means that they're your soulmate, you live and die for them.
