Oh my goodness this looks like something out of a spooky Harry Potter scene though I mean that in reference to the cinematography of the movie and in a good way! Catching the sunset the way you did was pure genius. I'm enthralled with the way it drapes across the snow. I expected the foot prints (I see some animal ones in there too) to be somewhat detracting thinking I'd prefer a clean pallet of snow but using the light the way you did they add a whole other element to the photo that I love. I think the angle of the shot is superb and adds to the atmosphere it creates. I can think of a million ways photographers may approach taking a shot of this train but I doubt any would have the clincher of the sunset or the perspective of yours. Truly a fantastic piece of photography. Something I can see people hanging in their cottages!

It was HDR generated from one RAW image. I think used some adjustment layers involving contrast/saturation and locally adjusted them.

A fair shot. I like how the snow gives a very frozen effect to the train.
How ever: your HDR -experiment made the snow look way too black considering it's either an early morning shot or afternoon shot. The HDR -effect also made those trees on the right look like they were pillow embossed in to the image. Too much incresed blackpoint makes pretty hard to see details and small objects which might be interesting. I'll give you 6½ / 10.

Into valokuvien vedostamiseen lähinnä, tuntuu, että etenkin mustavalkokuvien vedostamisessa pääsee vaikuttamaan huomattavasti enemmän lopputulokseen kuin millään muulla metodilla. Myöskin tulevaisuuden kannalta resoluutio on tärkeä tekiä; filmiä voidaan pitää lähes analogisena tallennusmediana, käytännössä 35mm filmistä on mahdollista saada niin tarkkoja skanneja, ettei mikään nykyinen kuluttajahintainen digikamera siihen pysty.
Rahanpuute myöskin, pääsee kuvaamaan 35mm filmille, kun ei 35mm format digikameraan ole varaa.
