First things first! I really like how her hair and eyes are done. For her hair, it's good that the pencil strokes captured the flow of her hair pretty well, and in different shades of green.

Just wondering what brand of coloured pencil are you using, though? Durability, colour vibrance, lead hardness and ease of use can vary between different brands of coloured pencils.

Sorry... Am not familiar with said brands of colouring materials. Maybe it's because we live in different countries and hence our art stores sell different brands. ^^U

Anyway, I do feel you. Prismacolour coloured pencils and Copic markers can indeed cost an arm and a leg, especially when you buy a huge set of them. Then again, as the proverb goes, you get what you pay for.

Have you heard of Derwent Coloursoft or Cretacolour? Not sure if they fit your budget, but you may want to give either one of these a shot.

I had never heard about Derwent but I had investigated and they're really cheaper
than I expected, otherwise cretacolor here still kinda expensive
I'll try Derwent Coloursoft as fast as they are in available (sold out in all local art stores)

thanks so much for your advice
