Yes, this does belong here, seeing as how it was made with a vector-program.
Random person, jabbing at the text with his index finger, "What the heck makes this so special?! It's just TEXT!!"
My reply, "Turn the text over Mr. Watson...."
Random person, "Why the heck should I do tha- Oooooh!! It spells exactly the same thing UPSIDE-DOWN!"
That, is the premise of ambigrams, a word being readable in two different ways. You can go to Wikipedia.com and type in Ambigram if you want more information. For now, just tilt your head to the side and read the text upside down: It will appear exactly the same. I recently got addicted to ambigrams, and have since started creating various words using the ambigraphic system. My first attempt was with my own name: Paaru, but after failing miserably, I decided to try my hand at my friend's name: Rachael. Well, here ya go! Personally, I like it, but whatever.
Time spent: ~2 hours.

That's me!!! That's my name! No one ever spells it right. I did my own,but it's not inked or scanned. I'm not sure about the fading on some of the letters.

I can't really read Rachael in that.... its doable, but I had to really think about it. The h in the center through me off. I knew it was reversable before I could read it.

*Shrug* Ambigrams are harder than they look. If you think you can keep it as an ambigram and make it more readable, then go ahead, but I did the best I could do.

Nice! I've always wondered what those are called...
my math teacher from last year had the MEGA-ambigram... It was the whole alphabet, written across and down, on a 1x3 foot or so sheet of paper. it was so awesome O_O... not only that, but it was perfectly symmetrical vertically. so you could read it down to the right, or up and left and still see the letters!
anywho... this is a cool ambigram. i would try to fix the H... it's a bit obvious and random 
but it's still awesome! good work!

I don't think that's the point of an ambigram.
Nonetheless, I tried EVERYTHING I could think up, YOU try making the letter "h" work both up and down with perfect symmetry.
I'd really like to see that, I love alphabetical ambigrams.

Well, it's just a thought
As for me... It's just my opinion that ambigrams are supposed to be like that. It's a nice surprise to look at something and go "Hey, that's a cool letter style" then to flip it and go "Oh! It's an ambigram!! Awesome!"
I'll try to find that alpha-gram.. it was pretty neat. perhaps i can find a print somewhere on google

Yet, sometimes it can go to the other side so far that it's at the point that nobody KNOWS it's an ambigram unless the original author tells them...
