As far as i know, M'Lady, the thought is mine. i only hope that you do not feel that your work inspired me only this much. So very much more to contemplate in this piece, and all of your gallery, than i commented here. i think that you have given me a psychosomatic back and arm ache that may last as long as i have your image in my mind, and the notion of that lock in the bermuda triangle of the back.

This is indeed a topsy turvy realm. Not often that you find a Lady with a diary which is an open book, absent locks, while she herself requires keys. A most intriguing placement of the security device. She holds the keys, but the latch looms like it is in that place where you cannot get to it yourself, like she would always have to depend on another to open her, or close her up. All the fractures on her arms and back remind me of the way i feel when i have been trying long to itch a scratch in that very same spot, perhaps the result of her trying to use the key. i think that the Lass if decidedly durable, she looks like she finished a lot more than merely one bite of that prohibited pomme before feeling any ill effects.
