Thought I would finish 2016 with drawing something I have a bit of a reputation for - Wet Faces
I remember seeing this picture drawn by the incredible and inspirational it was only recently that I found the original photograph - here on Deviant Art by the wonderful photographer -Amanda Carlsson (Thus the name of the piece).
I started the year with a personal challenge of completing 24 drawings - unfortunately I only managed 18 (Not all were posted to DA) - I guess opening my own Gallery, attending Art Fairs around the country and managing 16 other artists took its toll on the volume of work I could finish - however, I am more than happy with the progress my work has made and have more enthusiasm for Pencil Drawings (and art in general) now than ever before. Hope you all have a wonderful 2017 - Happy New Year

Usual culprits...Bristol Board Paper, Faber Castell pencils and Tombow Mono Zero eraser, and about 25 -30 hours work.
