Description Power of Observation.

Another version of [link]
to which I dedicated some more time. The sea is important there to fully express my concept. Wasn't present in the first version.
Updating my gallery here on DA...

Ugly image for an equally ugly idea heh!.
Think what you want.

Thank you so much for the time and the words.

An ironic title?

The image seems steeped in Dalian paranoia

Thank you so much for your words, Alec.

Yes, it is, in a way. Lets say, maybe, his paranoia reflects human paranoia, in a way. I dreamt about such an image long long time ago, even before I was able to relate it with anything else, known, generalized concepts coming out from literature and politics. It come out in a dream, just like that, so it can be many things (maybe as many as persons looking at it). On my side, I've a really strange feeling about this image. It has always had a hybrid and dynamic character/interpretation for and by myself.

Very clever I really enjoy your work and the connections you make between our humanity, the architecture and artifacts we make and our impact on the world.
Oh and I envy the opportunity you had to work on something as wonderful as the Darwin exhibition you description of your artistic contribution and the magnitude of the event make the endeavor sound so fulfilling. Best wishes for the show. now you can relax maybe?

phantastic idea and very well executed! The nerves could be painted quite a bit more realistically (illumination) but thats just details.

I absolutely LOVE this!
It has a Salvador Dali feel to it I think.... and I love Salvador Dali's work.
I have never really been into photo manipulation, (I'm being brutally honest here) except for one or two... until I had a closer look at your gallery. Wow! Your work truly blows me away! So much in fact, I've decided to watch you!
You have amazing talent!

I'm not sure what the meaning is behind this, but judging by the fact you said the sea is important to the concept of the image...

This is one nation looking out, or spying, on another? The veins on the eye are red, as well, which might be expressing a stress which drives this observation? Perhaps paranoia, which fuels the "Power of Observation". Anyway, it's a wonderfully imaginative idea that is backed by your obvious imaging talent!

We should start looking, instead of just listening? What we see will give us "the power of wisdom"? Where we are persistent on using just one of our senses, we should start using all our senses?
Or something else?
Enlighten me..
Anyway, a GREAT piece of art!
