Nicely done.
Sally is so awesome here.

Thanks. I've always viewed Sally as an awesome character and able to use her power of speech to get out of many tight situations. As seen above, is an example of her power.

She is an excellent character indeed. I always hate the Sally bashing when she is clearly skilled such as what you indicated.

Sally has many positive character traits that aren't explored enough. All that wasted potential. She's pretty much the very backbone of the Freedom Fighters. Without her, there'd be disarray (or Antonie as leader, but it's obvious where that would end up), giving Robotnik a prime opportunity to win the war.

She has so much potential as a character. Really you've said everything I could think of.

One day maybe, there will be more of Sally's characteristics and abilities explored. But until then, there's always fanwork.

Although it's common for some fans to go overboard and do, well....I'd rather not discuss the results.

It's not just the characters, it's the pairings themselves. What part of the mind instructs them to draw that?

A great many things unfortunately. Defensive favoritism, character hatred, mythos loyalty (like to the comic or game), etc.

Ultimately, it's all Sonic, the Hedgehog we all know and love. Sure we have our opinions over these fictional characters, but are they really worth verbal wars over at the end of the day?

Maybe they don't want to. Or maybe The Real World is there where they are. People have funny definitions of what The Real World is.

Yes, because you'll always have people denying this is the real world. Then again, after "The Matrix", some people aren't sure.

PaulAgnew In reply to saffronpanther [2009-05-14 00:59:35 +0000 UTC]
Do you think most diseases would be discovered and/or cured eventually? There's no chance of ALL since there will always be new breeds. But take the majors, such as cancer.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
saffronpanther In reply to PaulAgnew [2009-05-14 01:00:54 +0000 UTC]
Most will and most won't. Depends on the variety such as cancer-it will be cured one day but new versions of it will come up

PaulAgnew In reply to saffronpanther [2009-05-14 01:06:56 +0000 UTC]
Also the variations of Cancer play a part. One (such as prostate for example) could be cured, but no progress on others (i.e. breast cancer).

saffronpanther In reply to PaulAgnew [2009-05-14 01:11:48 +0000 UTC]
Or the variations could go further. Like say that some have specific conditions. I'm sure there are varied types of breast cancer like type 1 or 2 type thing.
I dunno really.

Yes, since Cancers can be really life-changing (particularly for the worse), the knowledge that nothing will be the same again for the patient could take quite the emotional/mental toll.
