Great pic. The subject is there, the drama as well !
In that case, I would see two things to further improve the picture: one is to have a darker background (one cannot choose the color of the sky, I know...) in order to bring the locomotive further out of the picture. the second would be to move just a little bit to the left to get rid of that distracting ladder, and maybe bring a bit more perspective (if possible) with the tracks fading away in the background.
