GORGEOUS, I love this shot, but i however, like that the focus is NOT in the eyes (i love whiskers) It adds so much more depht to it

i would have had the focus on the eyes.
excepting that, the colours, the green background and how the blurred is rendered is very nice.

i agree i would rather the focus had been on the eye, thats what i usually try for. he was being very cooperative, so i didn't push my luck, time-wise and i ended up pleasantly surprised by the effect of the soft focus, especially when zoomed out. thanks for the comment
