The Devil's Pulpit in Finnich Glen is an 80 foot deep, steep sided gorge carved out of the natural sandstone by the Carnock Burn with the 'pulpit' freature as a sandstone formation in one of the 'rooms' of the gorge..Resembling something from Lord of the Rings, the Pulpit has a strange mystical quality to it, and is an amazing place in any light!
