Description
He had seen rocks like that in the books. The carvings were an old "calling", runes that once served as a point of attachment for other entities of nature that usually didn't have a body of their own. He got closer, and feeling pulled by a strong feeling of curiosity, he touched it, caressing its clefts with the tip of his fingers, like memorising its shape and roughness. The markings reminded him of the folds of a human brain, and when this picture in his mind was clear, the carvings suddently lit up in a fluorescent green color. He woke up from that strange trance and jumped away from it. A viscous substance emerged from underneath the earth and from within the plants all around him, and slowly started covering the rock. He realised at that moment what he did... the rock had actually become a brain!
