Glancing through the thumbnails in your gallry I liked this one the most, before noticing it was a self-portrait. I have to ask... Who took the photograph you worked off for this? The lighting is just great, and you did a wonderful job rendering it.

Talking about your wonderful skills.... I'm in awe just once again. I just cannot believe this is a pencil artwork. The softness but yet the details on this picture are just blowing... The light source chosen is great too. I just will be here... Waiting for your next masterpiece

This is so well done. The face is excellent, but I'm truly impressed with your patience on the background. I always get so lazy and cut it back as much as I can.

I love the rendering of the glasses... as it looks like there's glass in them haha, and the light and shadow cast on your face from them... also the shirt is over all a great rendering, overall i really great drawing...
two things i don't like, the head seems a little too squared off in the upper left, and with the facial hair it looks like you have no real jawline under it.... better than i can do though

hey paul, great photo. my sister is just shouting at me and tells me this is not a pencil art but a photo manipulation. Well, always when people say it is not from you are it is a fake you know you did a damn good job
